Shawn Keding is the founder and CEO of SayDoo, an AI console for roofers, HVAC companies, plumbers and other trade businesses. He led marketing, creative and product at Connected Investors through a turnaround to a $100 million acquisition, then built more than 50 AI apps and wrote the How to Talk to the Future books. He lives in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Roofers, HVAC companies, plumbers, electricians and landscapers say what they need, and the work gets done, inside a system the company owns. He started in marketing and creative. At Connected Investors, a platform for real estate investors, he ran marketing, creative and then product, and helped turn a struggling startup into a $100 million acquisition. Before that he ran lead generation and agent training at Keller Williams Realty. He built some of the first AI apps, more than 50 of them as the developer, wrote the How to Talk to the Future books, and consulted business leaders on AI, from First American to Gary Keller. He also wrote and directed a Super Bowl commercial that combined real actors with AI. In 2026 he co-founded SayDoo with Johnathan Westbrook, building it inside a working roofing company in Greensboro. He lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, and is also a photographer.
